Night Macro @Lower Pierce Trail

After the disappointing sunset shoot, we continued with macro shoot at the nearby trail.  Didn’t find many interesting bugs either, and here are several shots of a leaf hopper and a jumping spider.

  1. No interesting bugs? That peacock wannabe bug is awsome. I also wish we had those jumping spiders around here, really like those big eyes. How big are those spiders anyway? Are these shots at 1:1? Any cropping? They’re nice shots, good focus.

    • Thanks for dropping by my blog Rifqi. The jumping spider is about 12mm. Shot with my MP-E65 at 2x handheld and cropped for better composition..

      • I’m a Nikon guy but that lens is something I wouldn’t mind if they sto…er, borrowed from Canon :p
