The very early morning rain today didn’t dampen our spirit. Met several of my photo kakies at Wallace Trail for some macro shoot. Didn’t find many bugs in the wet foliage though. Here are a couple of spiders and a praying mantis enjoying its feast.

Equipment that I'll be using for my photography journey.
Canon EOS 7D
Canon EOS 5D Mark III is acquired for landscape and portrait photography for its great performace.
Canon EF100mm f/2.8L IS USM. This lens is used mainly for both topside and underwater Macro Photography.
Add EF-S60mm f/2.8L USM for UW macro, which allows for larger subject without moving back too much.
Add this Canon MP-E65mm f/2.8 1-5x macro lens to my arsenal to get higher magnification in macro shoot.
Tokina AF11-16mm f/2.8. This ultra wide angle lens is used mainly for Landscape Photography.
Tokina AF10-17mm f/3.5~4.5 FE. This fisheye lens is used mainly for underwater wide angle shots
Tamron AF18-250mm f/3.5~6.3 Di II LD Aspherical Macro. Wide focal range for casual walkabout.
This 8-15mm fisheye lens has a 180 degree view, giving full fisheye effect when used with full frame camera body.
This will be the UWA lens on EOS 5D3 for landscape, and double up as a walkabout lens on EOS 7D.
This Tilt-Shift lens is for architectural and landscape. Help reduce perspective distortion, create miniture effect.
Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM will be my new walkabout lens. Its large aperture will be useful in low light.
Canon EF85mm f/1.2L II USM is for portrait. This lens will isolate subject from background with very nice bokeh
Canon EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM is added for reach. For extended reach, it's couple with a 2x TC on a 1.6x crop body
Canon Extender EF 2x III is used with the EF70-200mm for extended reach. On 7D crop body, gives 640mm equivalent.
Canon Speedlite 580EX II. This flash is used in Macro Photography as well as fill-flash in low light situations.
Canon Speedlite 430EX II. Use as off shoe slave flash. Pair with 580EX II as dual flash for macro too.
Acquired Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite to couple with the MP-E65mm. Bought Macrolite Adapter 67 too.
Nauticam NA-7D is the underwater housing for my Canon EOS 7D. Have a 8.5" Doom and a Macro Flat ports.
Inon Z-240 Strobe. Have three of these mounted with ULCS arms and clamps for my underwater photography.
Have two Sola 1200, each with an output of 1200 lumens, use underwater as video light as well as for focusing.
Bought Nauticam NA-LX5 housing for the Panasonic GMC-LX5 to be used as backup camera for dive trips.
Bought Panasonic GMC-LX5 as backup camera for dive trips as well as use for topside macro sometimes.
This Olympus FL-14 Electronic Flash is used with the Panasonic DMC-LX5 for topside macro photography.
Gitzo Explorer GT2541EX tripod paired with Markins Q10 ballhead is used mainly for landscape shoot.
Sirui N1205 paired with Photoclam PC-36NS is mainly for travel use. Can detach 1 leg to use as monopod.
