Dive into Ambon

Together with 15 dive buddies, we visited this very new Dive Centre @Ambon, named “Dive into Ambon” located at Baguala Bay.  We were in fact their very first guests.  They have the most impressive camera room I’ve ever seen in a dive centre, having more than 10 work stations and each complete with power points and lighting.  Staff were great and eager to serve too. Here is a link to their website if you like to know more about them, http://diveintoambon.com

Did a total of 17 dives over 5 days.  Muck diving at Ambon Bay, and good wide angle dives on the south of Ambon and Haruku Straits. There were even dive sites with underwater geothermal activities just outside Baguala Bay towards Haruku Straits.  Here are some of the critters captured.

On the last day after all diving were done, visited this popular spring located in a small village in Ambon where several large freshwater eels thrived in the super clear water.  The video below shows a local villager lured the eel out of its hiding place with fresh chicken eggs for visitor to see and filmed.
